I use mine with the Sony 720 only for meetings because the clairity of the recordingis better. It is well worth the price,especially if you plan to save your recordingsor burn it to disc. I purchased 3 of these for use in recording conference speakers at our church. It's also much clearer that the built in mic in both the voice recorder and camcorder. We use them paired with a digital voice recorder and sometimes a digital camcorder. In both applications the audio quality is so good (recording at 128kb with the voice recorder) that it's remarkable. For a relatively inexpensive mic, I'm very pleased with audio quality. I'd heartily recommend the me-15 to anyone wanting to get better recording quality out of their voice recorder or camcorder.
